Cornwall Days Out is an independent guide to days out in Cornwall. It covers 929 real places across 27 Cornish towns, from beaches and family days out to pubs, cafés, bakeries and fish and chip shops, and more than 650 guides that answer the practical questions people ask before a day out: where to park, where to eat, what's open, what's on and what works with children or a dog.
We're not connected to Visit Cornwall, Cornwall Council or any of the businesses we write about.
Every place on a town page is a real, current business or location taken from its Google listing, with its rating and number of reviews shown so you can judge for yourself. We read the reviews and the venue's own information, then write a short, practical note: what it's good for, who it suits (kids, dogs, couples), and anything that catches people out, like seasonal opening, steep access or cash-only parking.
We'd rather tell you a town has no good chip shop than pretend otherwise, and we say so when something is only "listed" or "to be confirmed".
The site is free to use and is paid for by small, clearly labelled adverts from local businesses. Advertising never decides which places we recommend in our guides, and paid links are marked as sponsored. Our Local Business Spotlights are free features on independent Cornish businesses. Details for advertisers are on the advertise page.
Businesses change hours, car parks change prices and events move. If you spot something we've got wrong, email hello@cornwalldaysout.com and we'll fix it.
Our sister guide, Devon Days Out, does the same for Devon.
