The guides are written in good faith and checked when we publish, but opening times, prices and dates change, so check with the venue before you travel. We are not responsible for what happens on other sites we link to. Advertisers: your terms are on the advertiser terms page.
You can read the whole site without giving us any personal details. We count visits and clicks without identifying you. The only cookies that need your say-so are from our booking partner GetYourGuide, and they stay off unless you accept them.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
Click counts. When you click an advert, a map link, a share button or a link to our planner or advertise page, our own counter records the page, the type of click and the link. It stores no name, email or device ID.
Advertisers and planner buyers. If you buy an advert or the Winter Planner, we receive your name, email, the details you submit (and your image, for adverts). Payment is handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. We use your details to provide what you bought and to contact you about it.
Strictly needed or simple preferences (no consent needed). Your browser remembers that you closed the offer banner for the session, that you closed the planner bar for 24 hours, and your cookie choice below. This stays on your device.
GetYourGuide (only if you accept). Some links and slots on this site are affiliate links to GetYourGuide for tours, boat trips and tickets. If you accept cookies, we load GetYourGuide's analytics script so bookings made through our links can be measured. That script may set cookies or similar identifiers. If you decline, it is not loaded. Links still work and you can still book.
When you click through to another site. That site, including GetYourGuide, can set its own cookies under its own policy.
Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
Hosting. Netlify hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and running the service.
