Short answer: Yes — free entry, free parking, and dogs very welcome. The paths are uneven and rooty in places, so proper shoes help. Allow a couple of hours and take a picnic.
Golitha Falls is a National Nature Reserve on the River Fowey, and one of the genuinely good free dog walks in Cornwall.
Ancient woodland alongside a river that tumbles over granite in a series of small falls rather than one big drop — people expecting a dramatic waterfall are sometimes disappointed, but as a walk it's lovely.
Uneven, rooty and slippery after rain. Trainers or boots rather than flip-flops. Reviewers do push buggies round it, but it's not a smooth path.
The shallow pools are genuinely popular with dogs on a warm day, and it's one of the better places in Cornwall to let a dog cool off properly.
Free car park with toilets, and a food stop nearby that closes mid-afternoon. Busy in peak season — early morning is calmer.
