Things to Do in Bude, Cornwall — your perfect day, sorted

Real, curated ideas for Bude beaches, family days out, dog-friendly spots and places to eat — filtered by who's actually with you.

Your Guide to Bude, Cornwall

Bude is the northernmost stop on Cornwall's coast, just over the Devon border — a genuinely family-friendly town built around Summerleaze Beach and its famous tidal sea pool, with a canal running straight through the middle of it. It's quieter and less polished than Padstow or St Ives, which is part of the appeal: better parking, easier crowds, and some proper local finds once you look past the obvious spots.
