Things to Do in Truro, Cornwall — your perfect day, sorted

Real, curated ideas for Truro beaches, family days out, dog-friendly spots and places to eat — filtered by who's actually with you.

Your Guide to Truro, Cornwall

Truro is Cornwall's only city, a genuine working hub built around a stunning three-spired cathedral, with a proper independent café and shopping scene rarely matched elsewhere in the county. It doesn't have beaches of its own, but some of Cornwall's best — Porthtowan, Portreath, the quieter Roseland coves — sit within a short drive. A good base if you want city conveniences alongside easy coastal access.
