The most accessible of the four, with a genuinely flat approach from nearby parking and a café right on the beach — the clear first choice for flat access.
A wide, flat cove with reasonably close parking — a good second option, particularly if Gyllyngvase's car park is full.
Castle Beach is smaller and rockier underfoot in places, which makes it a better choice for rock pooling than for pushchair or wheelchair access specifically.
Gyllyngvase's car park fills first in peak season — arriving before 10am, or heading straight to Maenporth instead, both work as a plan.
Given Falmouth's genuinely walkable town centre, combining a flat beach visit at Gyllyngvase with the equally flat harbour front makes for a full day without much strenuous walking at all.
The path connecting Gyllyngvase towards Swanpool is genuinely flat and pleasant, worth extending into if the beach itself isn't enough for the day.
