Newquay isn't short of pasties and fish and chips. What it didn't have until Nibble & Drizzle came along was a deli-style charcuterie and fruit bar — the town's first, according to the owners — serving fresh, colourful food built around one idea: give people something a little different. Their motto sums it up: Pick it. Pot it. Drizzle it!

What's on the menu

• Charcuterie pots — build your own or pick a signature pot: meat, cheese and crackers, with fillers like olives, tomatoes, cucumber and carrot.
• Fresh fruit pots, and breakfast pots with yoghurt, granola, fresh fruit and a drizzle.
• Hot mini pancake trays and pancake skewers, made fresh, topped and drizzled.
• Porridge pots, freshly blended fruit drinks and hot drinks.
• A protein shot can be added to the porridge, yoghurt pots and fruit blends.

Why it's on a days-out site

Because a Newquay day needs fuel that travels. A charcuterie pot is a ready-made beach picnic, a breakfast pot is an easy start before a surf lesson, and a tray of drizzled mini pancakes is the sort of treat that rescues a grey afternoon with children.
