Short answer: Perranporth's pubs are used to wet dogs — the beachfront ones most of all. Walk the beach in the rain, then dry off at the Seiners, the Watering Hole or the village locals.
A wet day here is arguably the best dog day: the beach empties, any seasonal restrictions matter less because nobody's on the sand anyway, and three miles of firm low-tide beach in drizzle is exactly what most dogs would order. The question is only where you both dry off afterwards.
One honest caveat: dog rules are the landlord's to set and can change with a change of management — if the whole day hangs on it, a thirty-second phone call settles it.
Bring the towel to the door, not the bar — a shake-down in a porch keeps these pubs dog-friendly for everyone after you. Water bowls are common but not guaranteed; a collapsible bowl in the coat pocket covers it.
