Short answer: King Arthur's Café near the castle car park is dog-friendly with excellent scones and strong vegan and vegetarian breakfast options; The Olde Malthouse pub-with-rooms welcomes dogs at breakfast too.
Tintagel Castle gets busy from mid-morning, and the steps are much more pleasant before the crowds. Breakfast early, then straight down — but check opening days and wind closures first, especially out of season. With toddlers, the stroller-friendly alternatives save the day.
