8 Beach Road, near the beach. 3.3 from 199 reviews. Takeaway closest to the sand. Reviewers like the crispy batter and a distinctive fruity curry sauce; others mention soggy chips, so it's hit and miss. Google lists: 12–2pm and 4–8pm Monday to Saturday; closed Sunday.
Cubert, about 3 miles north-east. 4.5 from 278 reviews. The best-rated chippy nearby, and worth the short drive if you want a takeaway that reliably delivers.
The bar on the beach itself (St Piran's Road): fish and chips with your feet nearly in the sand, and the obvious choice at sunset.
