Short answer: Seiners Arms (4.6) is right on the beach with a doggy menu and excellent roasts, the Perranporth Inn has the log fire and board games, the Tywarnhayle does the Sunday carvery, the Watering Hole is the UK's only pub actually on a beach, and the Bolingey Inn is the quieter locals' escape.
Perranporth's pubs mostly sit along the seafront within a few minutes of the huge beach, so the question is what you want from the evening. Most are dog-friendly; most are open through winter, though sometimes on reduced hours (see our what is open in Perranporth in winter).
Seiners Arms (4.6 from 954 Google reviews) is right on the beach with a doggy menu, excellent roast dinners with plenty of gravy, and is noticeably calmer than the busier beach pubs nearby. The Tywarnhayle (4.3 from 1,837 Google reviews) is a proper local known for its Sunday carvery, good value, dog-friendly and a crowd-pleaser for larger family groups. Our Perranporth Sunday roast guide compares them.
The Watering Hole (4.4 from 4,678 Google reviews) is billed as the UK's only pub actually on a beach, and it's as much a novelty as a meal. Go for a sunset pint outside; there's live music. It's dog-friendly.
The Perranporth Inn (4.4 from 766 Google reviews) is cosy, with a log fire the staff keep topping up, board games, a pool table and shuffleboard; dogs love it. Our winter guide pairs a storm-watching walk with a fire at the Perranporth Inn.
The Green Parrot (4.1 from 3,059 Google reviews) is a Wetherspoon that opens at 8am, with app ordering, high chairs on request and low prices for a family lunch.
Bolingey Inn (4.5 from 589 Google reviews) is tucked in a quiet hamlet about 1.2 miles away, with a well-priced, freshly cooked street-food menu; a good escape from the beachfront crowds. Black Flag Brewery (4.8 from 150 Google reviews) is a short walk out of the village, doing wood-fired Neapolitan pizza alongside its own brews, at weekends only. The Deck (4.4 from 219 Google reviews) is a two-floor bar with karaoke and cocktails; it isn't marked as dog- or child-friendly.
