Short answer: For Sunday lunch in Redruth, the Treleigh Arms is the safest bet: generous roasts, homemade cauliflower cheese and parking. The Shaft Inn, up a lane by Wheal Peevor, does homemade Yorkshires; the Rose Cottage Tavern on Chapel Street is the town-centre option. Book on Sundays. For a cheap roast on a weekday, the Marketway Café does a roast of the day.
A proper food pub on the northern edge of town with generous portions, roast pork and beef, homemade cauliflower cheese and puddings that sell out. Plenty of parking; open daily. The Treleigh Arms, Redruth
Up a country lane near the Wheal Peevor engine houses, with roasts that regulars describe as their favourite: crisp potatoes, proper homemade Yorkshires and rich gravy. Combine it with a walk round the engine houses. Sunday 12–9pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. The Shaft Inn, Redruth
A Chapel Street local revived by new owners, with Sunday lunch, a friendly atmosphere and a garden spa out the back. Closed Mondays. Rose Cottage Tavern, Redruth
Not a Sunday option (it's closed on Sundays), but the indoor-market café does a roast of the day with all the veg and a Yorkshire at a very fair price, Monday to Saturday, 9am–2pm.
Book for Sunday lunch, especially in the school holidays.
