Best Sunday Roast in Wadebridge

2026-10-15·Wadebridge

Short answer: The best Sunday roasts around Wadebridge are just outside town: the St Kew Inn (Sunday food 12–4pm, separate roast menu, dogs welcome everywhere; book), the Earl of St Vincent at Egloshayle (huge portions, homemade horseradish, about £20–25 a head; book) and the Quarryman Inn near the showground (Sunday 12–9pm). In town, the Swan serves roasts until 8pm.

Wadebridge is surrounded by proper country pubs, and Sunday lunch is what they do best.

St Kew Inn

A country pub at St Kew, a few miles north-east, with a big garden. Sunday food runs 12–4pm with a separate roast menu. "Smoked chicken supreme roast… one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time," says one reviewer. Another was turned away at 2:15pm without a booking, so book. Dogs welcome in all areas.

The Earl of St Vincent

An old pub in Egloshayle, just across the river. Reviewers say "best Sunday lunch ever", praise the roast beef with homemade horseradish, and quote around £20–25 a head for a huge portion. Sunday 12–6pm; closed Mondays. Book: they ring to remind you.

Quarryman Inn

Near the Royal Cornwall Showground, with Sunday food 12–9pm, so it's the one for a late roast. "Best Sunday roast I've had in a pub for a long time," says one reviewer.

The Swan

The town-centre pub on Molesworth Street. A Sunday-evening reviewer had a medium roast with a Yorkshire pudding centrepiece and "about a pound" of beef; the kitchen was open until 8pm, and there are several portion sizes.
