Cornish Pirates home fixtures, November 2026

A TV listings site shows these Pirates games for the window:

The listings do not name venues, and the first-named team is normally the home side, so we have inferred which games are at home. Kick-off times can change for broadcast, so confirm on the club's site. Live streams of the away games are on Blaze TV and ClubberTV, and ClubberTV carries the home games too, according to the listing.

Where do the Cornish Pirates play?

The Mennaye Field, Penzance (the club's address is Westholme, Alexandra Road, TR18 4LY). It is a ground with terraces and stands, close to the seafront. Reviewers call it a good place to watch rugby, with fair prices for food and drink and a friendly crowd. One reviewer reported about 1,500 at a game, which felt about half full.

In early 2026 the club said the Mennaye was out of action for a time after storm damage to a grandstand and electrical faults. It moved a February game to Camborne RFC, and said it wanted to go back once the scoreboard, public address and cameras were fixed. New grandstand works were underway for next season. We have not found a 2026 notice about the Mennaye being fully back in use for November, so check the club's match preview for the Richmond and Caldy games, which will name the ground.

Tickets and prices

From last season's supporter information: terrace tickets are sold online, can be bought up to and beyond kick-off, and are digital with no physical tickets. Under-16s get a free terrace ticket, Truro and Penwith College students pay £5 with proof, and a 20% concession applies to Blue Badge holders, serving Armed Forces, blue light and NHS staff. Gates 2 and 3 take card and cash for terrace tickets. The ticket office is on 01736 331961.

The standard adult price at the Mennaye was not listed in the pages we read. For the Camborne game in February 2026, gate tickets were £20 standard and £16 concessions, which gives a rough guide, but do not assume the same for Penzance.

Gates, food and parking

Our Penzance parking guide covers the car parks near the seafront. Dogs are not mentioned in the supporter information, so ask the club if you plan to bring one.

Make a day of it in Penzance

An early-afternoon kick-off on 14 November leaves a morning free. A pasty first from the Penzance pasty guide, then rugby, then a roast from the roast guide if it's a Sunday game. See what is open in Penzance in winter for after the final whistle. The November 2026 what's on guide shows what else is on those weekends, and the Penzance town page has more.

Is there disabled access at Cornish Pirates home games?

Yes, with limits. The club's match-day information for the Worcester game in March 2026 said disabled viewing is through Gate 4, under cover in the Jewson stand area. Blue Badge holders get a 20% concession and a free companion, booked by phoning the ticket office on 01736 331961. The same page did not mention a wheelchair platform, so ask when you book what the viewing position is like.

Parking: disabled parking at the ground is limited and allocated first come, first served. Other spaces go to sponsors, media and match officials. Arrive early, and have a back-up plan, such as drop-off at the gate and parking on the Promenade or in a nearby car park. Free street parking is available, but the club asks supporters not to block driveways or park on grass verges.

Toilets: the supporter information we read did not mention accessible toilets or their location, so ask the club when you book.

This information comes from a spring 2026 fixture, and the ground has been changing as the storm damage is repaired and new grandstand work goes ahead. Confirm the arrangements for the Richmond and Caldy games with the club before you travel. Our Penzance parking guide covers the town car parks.

What happens if it rains at the Mennaye, and what should you wear?

Most of the ground is open to the weather. The club's information for the March 2026 Worcester game explained the options:

We have not seen the club's arrangements for the November games, and the grandstand works may have moved on by then, so check the match preview. Plan for cold, wet and wind. Penzance sits right by the sea, and 1pm and 3pm kick-offs in November finish as the light fades.

Wear waterproofs and a hat, and layers you can add as the game goes on. Choose shoes that cope with wet concrete steps. A seat pad is worth bringing if you buy a grandstand ticket and the club is not handing them out. Gates opened at 12.30pm last season, so a mid-afternoon kick-off leaves time for lunch first.

Where can you eat or drink near the Mennaye before kick-off?

Inside the ground you will find food vans, Rowe's pasties and a bar, as covered above. If you want a proper sit-down meal or pint first, these Penzance pubs are well reviewed on Google:

Pub opening times vary in winter, so check the day before. For pasties, see our Penzance pasty guide.
