Short answer: Eden's February half term 2027 runs from Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 February, 10am to 5pm. Activities include giant marble runs (£5 returnable deposit), Nature's Playground and the outdoor ice rink, which costs extra and needs valid Eden admission. Activities are free with admission and Eden strongly encourages pre-booking.
The Eden Project is one of the few big Cornish attractions with a proper February half-term programme, and most of it sits inside the biomes, so it works when the weather does not. The dates for 2027 are out, and Eden says the full activity list is still being finalised, so here is what is confirmed and what to watch for.
Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 February 2027, open 10am to 5pm, according to Eden's February half term page. That lines up with Cornwall's school half term, which many families plan around, so expect the busiest days to be the first Saturday, the Monday and Tuesday of the week, and the final weekend.
The page lists these things so far:
The page says more activities are to come, and the previous years' half terms have had themed trails and science shows, so keep an eye on the page. We will not guess at the rest.
The half-term activities are free with your admission. Ice skating is an extra charge, and skaters need valid Eden admission as well. For the marble runs there is a £5 returnable deposit for borrowing marbles. Eden's page did not list the standard day ticket price, only that a Locals' Pass gives a year of entry from £26.80 for an adult, so look at the ticket page for the day you want. Tickets are cheaper in advance on many dates, according to visitor reviews, and Eden strongly encourages pre-booking at half term.
It is at Bodelva, near St Austell, PL24 2SG. The nearest train stations are Par and St Austell, with local buses to the site, though most people drive. Eden has 4.3 from 6,739 Google reviews. Reviewers praise the biomes and the layout, and complain about heat in summer and queueing at busy times, which is less of an issue in February.
If you want to add a second stop, the St Austell guide has options. Charlestown Harbour is nearby for a winter walk, and Charlestown Harbour is a free place for a wander. Eden's own travel page describes ample free visitor parking, with the only paid extra being electric vehicle charging. Motorhomes and campervans can park, but overnight parking is not allowed. From the car parks you can walk to the visitor entrance or use the free park and ride bus, which Eden says runs at peak times. Half-term days are likely to count as peak, so allow for a queue for the bus on the way back up.
Our Eden visitor guide has more on the car parks.
Eden's accessibility page says around 25 free manual wheelchairs are available first come, first served from Apple 1, Apple 2 and the Visitor Centre, with no booking. Six electric mobility scooters can be booked in advance for £20 a day, non-refundable, with a suggested minimum age of 14. A self-propelled wheelchair can also be booked ahead.

Yes, with limits. Eden charges nothing extra for a dog. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor gardens, the Biome Kitchen, the Core building and the Core Cafe, and must stay on paths and on a lead at all times. They are not allowed in the indoor Biomes or children's play areas. Assistance dogs are welcome across the whole site.
That matters in February because the Rainforest Biome is the warm place to thaw, and the half-term play spaces such as Nature's Playground are children's play areas. If you bring a dog, one adult needs to wait outside while the other goes in, so take turns. Eden has water stations, rest areas, waste bins and dog-friendly ice cream. Eden's page does not mention the ice rink and dogs, so ask before you plan on skating with a dog beside the rink.
For the full rules see our dogs at the Eden Project guide. Leave other pets at home, as only dogs are allowed.
Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 February 2027, open 10am to 5pm.
