Porthleven is tiny, but it has more good places to eat per street than almost anywhere in Cornwall, a harbour that turns wild in winter, and some of the best walking on the south coast on its doorstep.
Kittos Field (TR13 9JA) is the council car park, charging only from 9am to 4pm, and one of the few still taking cash. Winter prices run from £1 an hour. Porthleven parking.
Routes 2 and 2A between Penzance and Helston stop in Porthleven, roughly every half hour on weekdays from Penzance. Fares are capped at £3 a single until March 2027.
