Things to Do in Penzance, Cornwall — your perfect day, sorted

Real, curated ideas for Penzance beaches, family days out, dog-friendly spots and places to eat — filtered by who's actually with you.

Your Guide to Penzance, Cornwall

Penzance sits at the far south-west tip of Cornwall, looking out across Mount's Bay to the tidal island of St Michael's Mount — a proper working town with a genuine harbour, subtropical gardens, and some of the best beaches in the country within a short drive, from Sennen Cove to the turquoise water at Pedn Vounder. It's also the gateway to the Minack Theatre and Land's End, which makes it a stronger base than its size suggests.
