Short answer: Park at the Willow car park (Valley Road, PL26 6SB), the first large car park on the left as you come into Mevagissey: about 300 spaces and a 7–10 minute walk to the harbour. The harbour car park (PL26 6QQ, about 60 spaces, run by the harbour trustees) is closer but small and fills fast. Don't try to drive through the village centre: the streets are narrow and there's nowhere to stop.

Great if you get a space, especially if you're fishing or crabbing with lots of kit. In summer it's often full by mid-morning, and getting to it means driving through the narrow centre.
A little further round the harbour (PL26 6UJ), sometimes slightly cheaper, but you have to drive right round to reach it.
The parish council has had complaints about the privately run Sunny Corner car park; use Willow instead.
Bus 29 runs roughly hourly from St Austell station via Pentewan and Heligan. Or cycle the mostly traffic-free Pentewan Valley Trail: Mevagissey to Heligan.
