Short answer: Cornwall's half term is Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026. In Polperro that week, the Model Village (closed Saturdays), the Heritage Museum and Porfell Wildlife Park near Lanreath should all still be open at the tail end of their seasons. Add rock pooling at Talland Bay or Lansallos, pizza at Turntable and ice cream on the harbour.
Half term is the last busy week in Polperro before the village goes quiet for winter, and it's a good one for families: big tides for rock pooling, no summer crowds, and dogs allowed back on the beach.
