Short answer: Polperro's Christmas lights switch-on for 2026 hasn't been announced yet. It's usually on a Saturday in late November or early December: 6 December in 2025, 30 November in 2024 and 4 December in 2021 (3pm, free). Park at Crumplehorn with coins and walk down to the harbour; we'll add the 2026 date as soon as it's published.
Polperro dresses its harbour and lanes in lights every December, and the switch-on is one of the cosiest small-village Christmas evenings in east Cornwall.

We haven't seen a published programme for 2026, and we'd rather not guess at the details. Our advice: get there before dark, walk down while it's light, and find a spot near the harbour.
Crumplehorn car park at the top of the village takes coins only, minimum £7. The tuk-tuk doesn't run in winter, so it's the half-mile walk down; bring a torch for the walk back up. Polperro parking · buses from Looe.
