Short answer: Mevagissey stays are mostly small, owner-run lets: The Lookout Apartments on East Quay (two apartments sleeping four each), The Penthouse (a five-star apartment for four), Skysail (a house for eight) and Top Deck at Gorran Haven (a three-bedroom bungalow).
The listings don't say whether dogs are welcome at these four, so ask before you book. Our dog-friendly Mevagissey guide covers the pubs, cafés and beaches once you're there.
Harbour-side lets are the most convenient for the quay, but Mevagissey is steep, and parking is limited. Read where to park and what it costs before you choose, and the access guide if anyone has a buggy or limited mobility.

This is a short, independent list, not a booking site, and it isn't a ranking: we've included places whose own listings were clear about what they offer. Details, prices and dog policies change, so confirm with the owner before you book. Know somewhere we've missed or got wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.
These are the Google ratings and practical details we hold for the places named above, from our Mevagissey guide. Review counts change, so treat them as a guide to how well established each place is rather than a league table.
Not every good option fits in one guide. These are the next places near Mevagissey we would point you to for this kind of day, with the rating, price band and distance from the town centre as listed on our Mevagissey page.
If this guide is one stop in a longer day, these are the highest-rated options in each category on our Mevagissey page that are not already mentioned above.
Parking. Park at the Willow car park (Valley Road, PL26 6SB), the first large car park on the left as you come into Mevagissey: about 300 spaces and a 7–10 minute walk to the harbour. The harbour car park (PL26 6QQ, about 60 spaces, run by the harbour trustees) is closer but small and fills fast. Don't try to drive through the village centre: the streets are narrow and there's nowhere to stop. Full guide: Mevagissey Parking: Where to Park and What to Avoid.
Winter. In winter the Mevagissey Aquarium (open late May to October) and the Fowey ferry (season ends in early October) are shut, and the museum and model railway are seasonal. Pubs such as The Fountain Inn and Harbour Tavern, bakeries and Heligan carry on. Council car parks are free from 4pm to 9am. Full guide: Mevagissey in Winter: What Is Open and What Is Shut.
Rainy days. On a wet day in Mevagissey: the village museum on the East Wharf (about £2, usually Easter to October), the free aquarium in the old lifeboat house (late May to October), a long lunch at the Ship Inn or the Fountain, and the Eden Project's indoor biomes about 25 minutes' drive away.
